Cultivating Vital Growth
My name is Heather Holland, and I am a Christian counselor who helps adults and teens in Oklahoma who feel stuck in cycles of stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm through virtual therapy. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences so they no longer trigger the same level of emotional and physical stress. EMDR uses structured techniques, including guided bilateral stimulation such as eye movements, to help the nervous system resolve unprocessed memories and promote adaptive coping.
My approach is warm, empowering, and direct, offering both support and appropriate challenge to foster meaningful growth. Through virtual mental health therapy, specifically EMDR, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I help clients feel more grounded, calm, and confident in their daily lives and relationships. If other methods are preferred, I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
